What are primary colours and why are all the other colours we see derived from them? This exciting visual theme explores the world of colour, looking at the visible light spectrum as well as infrared and ultraviolet light. Using a variety of beautiful props we present the concepts of secondary colours and warm and cool colours. We apply this to the real world as children practise colour recognition and examine the way colour manifests itself in the natural world.
